SLA Resins

Formlabs SLA resins are formulated for high-resolution, smooth surface finish parts across a wide range of engineering and regulated applications. Whether you are producing rapid prototypes, functional end-use components, or patient-contact medical and dental parts, there is a validated resin for the job. All SLA resins are compatible with the Form 4 and Form 4B unless otherwise noted.

General Use Resins

For parts and prototypes where surface finish, fine detail, or color accuracy matters most. These are the go-to materials for early-stage design validation, visual models, and general-purpose printing.

SLS Powders

Formlabs SLS powders are engineered for strong, support-free functional parts and low-volume production runs. Because SLS printing does not require support structures, parts can be nested and packed into the build chamber to maximize throughput. All SLS powders are compatible with the Fuse 1+ 30W unless otherwise noted.

Nylon 12 Powders

The standard SLS material family for strong, accurate functional parts and production components. Nylon 12 offers an excellent balance of strength, stiffness, and detail resolution, making it the most widely used SLS material for engineering applications.

Nylon 12 Tough Powder
Impact-resistant parts, housings, components subject to repeated stress
Higher impact resistance than standard Nylon 12, ductile failure mode
Nylon 12 White Powder
Color-finishing applications, consumer-facing parts, painted end-use parts
White base color for easier dyeing and surface finishing

Compatible with: Fuse -Series SLS Printers

Nylon 11 Powders

For parts that require higher impact resistance, elongation, and flexibility than standard Nylon 12. Nylon 11 is better suited for thin-walled parts and applications where ductility and toughness are more important than stiffness.
