If you have SOLIDWORKS network licenses, then the first step to upgrading your environment is upgrading the SolidNetWork License Manager (SNL) to the newest version prior to upgrading SOLIDWORKS products on client machines for the SNL manager to distribute license to clients on the new version.

Note: All Borrowed licenses must be returned prior to upgrading SNL manager. Review the license borrow status on the License Usage tab of the SNL Manager.
