How to Re-Chain and Re-Use a Toolpath – Flat Pattern 3/10

How to Re-Chain and Re-Use a Toolpath - Flat Pattern 3/10

When a single toolpath and common strategy is needed for multiple parts, existing toolpaths can be reconfigured rather than starting from scratch. By simply rechaining toolpaths, you can save time and effort while maintaining accuracy. In the case of multiple flat parts in a single project, the same toolpath can be rechained and the project saved out repeatedly to create source files for nesting later.

Keep everything organized by layers to streamline selection and visibility of entities by individual component.  By activating the layer before creating the pierce point and toggling visibility, the toolpath can be quickly swapped between parts.
