Get Started/Activated with SOLIDWORKS Cloud Services/3DEXPERIENCE
Starting in July 2023, all new purchases of SOLIDWORKS Desktop CAD licenses (Perpetual, Term, Standalone, or Network) will include Cloud Services as part of the Subscription. So how do you get started?
The first step is acceptance of the license agreement and Platform Admin role which comes via email link. Be aware that becoming the Platform Admin consumes a license and locks it to your email address for 30 days. The Platform Admin is generally the CAD Admin or main SOLIDWORKS user at your company. If you are not the right person for this, simply forward this email to the correct address.
Clicking the “Launch your 3DEXPERIECNE platform” link will generate another pop up allowing your email address to become the Administrator and consumes a license:
Followed by the license agreement which must be scrolled to the bottom of before you can click accept:
Once logged in, you’re ready to begin your first steps as the Platform Administrator.
