Electromagnetic Simulation Jumpstart Program · Through September 30
Bring us your electromagnetic design challenge.
Describe what you are trying to solve. Our electromagnetics specialist will help determine whether simulation can answer it, what it would take, and whether it is worth doing.
Then get a Jumpstart for over $1,500 in savings, including three months of the SIMULIA Electromagnetics solution plus free training to help you get started.
- The review itself is free, with no obligation
- A written feasibility summary, not a sales call
- NDA signed before any technical detail changes hands
Tell us about your electromagnetic design challenge.
A few sentences is enough. Keep it general if you need to. We sign an NDA before you share anything specific.
45-minute session with a specialist. Written summary follows. No charge for the review.
We sign an NDA before you share anything proprietary. Keep your description general if you need to.

Why this program exists
Electromagnetic problems surface on the bench, after the money is spent.
Electromagnetic behavior stays invisible until hardware exists. The enclosure detunes the antenna. The harness couples into the sensor line. The board passes functionally and fails pre-compliance. The motor performs on paper and runs hot in the assembly.
By then the design is committed, tooling is quoted, and the schedule has no slack. So the team builds another unit, tests it, and infers the cause from the outside. Each loop costs weeks and answers one question.
That is the specific question this program answers, and we answer it before you spend anything.
The Electromagnetic Feasibility Review
A written answer on your problem. The review itself is free.
This is not a demo and it is not a discovery call. It is a technical working session on a problem you actually have, followed by a written summary you can take to your team.
Describe the challenge
A few sentences on the form. Geometry and test data help but are not required to start. If your problem cannot be described without proprietary detail, say so and we sign an NDA first.
Work the problem with a specialist
A 45-minute session with the engineer who leads MLC's electromagnetics simulation practice. We go through the geometry, the frequency range, what you have measured, and what you have not been able to measure.
Receive a written summary
Within two business days you get a one-page feasibility assessment you can circulate internally and act on.
What the summary covers
- Whether the problem is solvable in simulation, and with what confidence
- The recommended solver approach and analysis type for your specific case
- What model setup, inputs, and validation data would be required
- Where simulation would replace physical iteration, and where it would not
- An honest read on whether this is worth doing at all
What we can look at
Bring us the problem, whatever it looks like.
The challenges that come through this program most often:
EMI and EMC
Coupling paths, shielding gaps, and emissions risk ahead of pre-compliance testing.
Antennas and wireless
Pattern, gain, and detuning from the enclosure, plus propagation and device placement for connectivity.
RF and microwave
Filters, waveguides, connectors, and transitions across the operating band.
Electronics and PCB
Board-level signal and power integrity, layout effects, and thermal behavior.
Motors and electro-mechanical devices
Machine performance, losses, and efficiency across the operating range.
Sensors
Field interaction, sensitivity, and interference in the installed environment.
Low frequency through high frequency, static through optical. If your question sits in that range, it is worth the session.
Who is doing the review
An engineer who runs these tools, not a product rep.
MLC has supported design and manufacturing teams for more than 40 years across aerospace, defense, medical device, automotive, energy, and industrial machinery. We are a full Dassault Systèmes reseller, and our simulation practice is staffed by engineers who run these tools on real problems.
The review is done by the person who would run the analysis, not by someone who would hand you off afterward.
If the answer is yes
Jumpstart pricing, available through September 30.
Nothing about the review obligates you to buy. If the feasibility summary says simulation solves your problem and you want to bring the capability in house, the Jumpstart gets you running on the SIMULIA Electromagnetics solution, powered by CST Studio Suite technology and connected to your existing SOLIDWORKS data through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Electromagnetic Simulation Jumpstart Package
- Three months of the SIMULIA Electromagnetics solution, including the Electromagnetics Engineer role and required platform prerequisites
- Training included at no charge to help you get started
- Over $1,500 in total savings
Available through September 30, 2026. We discuss it after we understand the problem, not before.
Fit
This is built for teams already running into electromagnetic behavior.
A good fit if
- EMI, EMC, antenna, RF, motor, or sensor behavior affects your product's performance or compliance
- You have hit a problem physical testing is not fully diagnosing
- You are spending prototype cycles chasing an electromagnetic issue
- You use SOLIDWORKS and want simulation connected to your design data
- You are weighing whether to bring electromagnetic analysis in house instead of outsourcing it
Probably not yet if
- You need structural, thermal, or flow analysis only. That is SOLIDWORKS Simulation, and we will point you there.
- You want a one-time analysis performed for you rather than capability on your team. Ask about our technical services instead.
Before you wait
These reviews are run by one engineer.
Our electromagnetics specialist runs every feasibility review personally, which is what makes the output worth having. It also means the number we can complete before September 30 is limited. Reviews are scheduled in the order requests come in. If you are weighing this against your next prototype build, submit now and decide later. The review itself is free and holds your place.

Frequently asked
We cannot share design details outside the company. Can we still do this?
Yes, and it is a common starting point. Describe the problem generally on the form. We sign an NDA before any specific geometry, test data, or design detail changes hands. If your organization requires its own NDA form, send it and we will work from yours.
Do I have to buy anything?
The review is free and carries no obligation. It produces a written deliverable you can act on either way. If the answer is yes and you want to bring the capability in house, the Jumpstart package is the discounted entry point, and that decision is entirely separate.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing to start. If you can share geometry, a frequency range, or test results before the session, we go deeper faster. If you cannot, we work from what you can describe.
How long does it take?
The session is 45 minutes. The written summary follows within two business days. Some problems warrant a second session, and we will schedule one if so.
What if simulation cannot solve my problem?
The summary will say so and explain why. You will still leave knowing what would actually resolve it, which is usually the more useful outcome.
What software is this based on?
The SIMULIA Electromagnetics Engineer role on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, powered by CST Studio Suite technology. It covers low to high frequency simulation, static through optical, and maintains association with your SOLIDWORKS geometry.
How is this different from SOLIDWORKS Simulation?
SOLIDWORKS Simulation covers structural, thermal, and motion analysis. Electromagnetic behavior needs a different class of solver. If you are unsure which your problem needs, that is a reasonable thing to bring to the session.
Can more than one engineer join?
Yes, and it works better that way. The design engineer and the test or compliance engineer in the same session usually produces a sharper answer.
Tell us what you are trying to solve.
Describe the challenge in a few sentences. Keep it general if you need to. We will follow up within one business day to schedule your session, and you will have a written feasibility summary within two business days after it. The review itself is free, carries no obligation, and we sign an NDA before any detail changes hands.
