How to Adjust Laser Offset on Markforged Industrial 3D Printer

The Markforged Metal X system utilizes metal powder in filament form mixed with a wax and a polymer binder. The small amount of wax improves print quality but must be removed prior to sintering to allow for the binder to off gas as it sinters. The Eiger slicing and management platform estimates the amount of time each part must be washed in a solvent and dried and tracks it’s progress in an easy to view dashboard. Part weight change confirms if sufficient wax has been removed and parts can be sintered.
