Clearing a Release Nozzle Jam - Markforged Metal X 3D Printer

The Markforged Metal X printer uses two print heads to build metal parts. The release material is a ceramic material that becomes brittle when the metal is sintered, allowing for easy removal without cutting or special tools. If the release material print head is jammed, these are the procedures recommended to resolve the issue.

1. Unload and then load the release material filament to see if that resolves the blockage

2. Clean up the nozzles and utilize a purge rod to carefully push out any debris, from above and/or below as needed. If needed, replace the feed tube as well.

3. Replace the release nozzle
