Clearing a Release Nozzle Jam - Markforged Metal X 3D Printer

The Markforged Metal X printer uses two print heads to build metal parts. The metal material is a bound metal powder material that uses wax and a polymer binder for printing. If the metal material print head is jammed, these procedures are recommended to resolve the issue.

1. Unload and then load the metal material filament to see if that resolves the blockage. 
2. Remove and clean the nozzles and utilize a purge rod to carefully push out any debris, from above and/or below as needed. If needed, replace the lower feed tube as well. 
3. Replace the metal nozzle.
