New 3DVia Release Now Available

3DVia Cmposer V6R2011x Now Available

SolidWorks has announced the release of 3DVia Composer V62011x, the latest and greatest release of 3DVia Composer. Based on our review and training on this latest release, we're confident that our customers will find the new features, enhancements and refined user interface of immediate benefit in your documentation and publishing production.

Key highlights for the new release: 

Lifelike Experience: New shading and rendering methods include alpha channel support and ambient occlusion.

Improved Communiation and Usability: Custom hotspots, new silhouette methods and new layered rendering features help to improve downstream communications and increase productivity.

Additional Features and Enhancements: Unicode character encoding, a customizable compass and EPS output are just a few of the additional features that make this this best release of 3DVia Composer to date.

This new version will be available for download from the Customer Portal effective February 14 and customers under maintenance as of November 15, 2010 are eligible to receive the new release.
